Iron Infusion IV

100 mg of IV iron to rebuild low iron levels.

Low iron can leave you tired, short of breath and foggy for months. Visit our Rancho Bernardo clinic for an IV iron infusion given by a registered nurse, once our medical team has reviewed blood work showing your iron is low.

Ingredients: Iron 100 mg, 1L IV Fluids

How It Works

Iron Infusion IV delivers 100 mg of iron directly into your bloodstream, so it raises iron levels faster than pills and skips the nausea and constipation oral iron often causes. If your labs call for more, you can add a second 100 mg in the same visit (200 mg total).

A recent blood test (CBC and ferritin from the last 3 months) showing low iron is required before your infusion. Upload it when you book or bring it with you. Most people need more than one infusion to refill their iron, so we’ll suggest a schedule based on your labs and are happy to work with your doctor. Home visits are available by request. Call or text (858) 351-3255.

Formulated to Help With
  • Iron deficiency confirmed by a blood test
  • Iron-deficiency anemia
  • Can't tolerate iron pills
  • Iron pills haven't raised your levels
  • Low iron after pregnancy or heavy periods
  • Low iron on a plant-based diet

Who It’s For

Confirmed Low Iron: A recent blood test shows iron deficiency or anemia.

Pills Didn't Work: You can't tolerate iron pills or they haven't helped.

With Your Doctor: We're happy to coordinate with your primary physician.

How Your Visit Works

Book online and upload a blood test from the last 3 months (CBC and ferritin) showing low iron, or bring it with you. Our medical team reviews it before your infusion. A registered nurse starts your IV in a private suite. Each 100 mg dose takes about 30 minutes, and we monitor you for a short time afterward before you head home.

Safety & Clinical Oversight

IV iron is a prescription treatment given under our medical director’s protocol. We require a recent blood test showing low iron before every infusion, so your dose is right for you. A registered nurse reviews your health history before starting and monitors you during and after your infusion.
