How It Works
Hydration IV is one liter of normal saline, a sterile solution of water, sodium, and chloride that closely matches your body’s own fluids. Delivered through an IV, it replaces lost fluid and electrolytes directly, without waiting for your digestive system, which can help if you’re feeling lightheaded, tired, or headachy from dehydration. Your nurse reviews your health history first and stays with you through the roughly hour-long visit.
- Mild dehydration
- Fatigue from fluid loss
- Recovery after exercise or heat
- Feeling run-down after illness or travel
- Heat and sun exposure
- Long flights and dry cabin air
- Low fluid intake on busy days
- Hydration before an event or race
