You’ll sit in a padded recliner inside our private chamber at the Rancho Bernardo clinic. Pressure rises gradually while you clear your ears, much like an airplane descent. Then you rest, read, or watch TV, with our team right outside and an intercom if you need anything.

How It Works
You relax in a padded recliner inside our hard-shell, walk-in chamber while it is gradually pressurized, up to 2.0 ATA. During your session you breathe up to 95% concentrated oxygen through a mask. Your first visit includes a quick health screening, because hyperbaric sessions aren’t suitable for everyone, for example people with certain lung or ear conditions.

Pressurization is gradual and takes a few minutes while you gently clear your ears, similar to an airplane descent. Once at pressure, read, listen to music, watch TV, or simply rest for 60 minutes. Depressurization is slow and easy, and then you're on your way.
