What Causes Hair Loss?
The most common form of hair loss, androgenetic alopecia (pattern hair loss), is driven largely by genetics and a hormone called DHT (dihydrotestosterone). DHT is formed when an enzyme converts testosterone into DHT, which can bind to hair follicles and gradually shrink them over time — a process called miniaturization. As follicles miniaturize, hair grows in thinner and finer, and eventually stops growing back at all in affected areas.
Three Ingredients, Three Different Jobs
Minoxidil (5%)
Minoxidil is a topical vasodilator — it widens blood vessels near the hair follicle, increasing blood flow, oxygen, and nutrient delivery to the scalp. That improved circulation is thought to help extend the hair growth cycle and support regrowth in areas where follicles are still active.
Finasteride (0.3%)
Finasteride is a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor — it works by blocking the enzyme that converts testosterone into DHT. With less DHT circulating, hair follicles are less likely to miniaturize further, which can help slow or stop additional hair loss over time.
Biotin (0.2%)
Biotin is a B-vitamin involved in keratin production, the structural protein that makes up hair. Adding it to the spray supports the building blocks of healthy hair alongside the two active medications.
Why Compound Them Into One Spray?
Minoxidil and finasteride target hair loss from two different angles — one supports blood flow to follicles that are still active, the other slows the hormonal process behind follicle miniaturization — with biotin added to support the building blocks of healthy hair. Compounding all three into a single daily spray means one simple step in your routine instead of separate pills and topicals.

Safety & What to Expect
Results take time — hair growth happens in cycles, so most patients don't see a visible difference for several months of consistent use, and results vary from person to person. As with any medication, side effects are possible; your provider will review your health history and talk through what to expect during your consultation.
This is a compounded medication. It has not been FDA-approved or evaluated for safety or efficacy. Your provider will review potential side effects and confirm it's right for you during your consultation.
Hair Regrowth Spray, Answered
It combines minoxidil, which increases blood flow to the scalp, with finasteride, which blocks the hormone (DHT) linked to follicle miniaturization, and biotin, a B-vitamin that supports keratin production. Together they target hair loss from multiple angles in a single daily application.
